Information having been received that some Noble Patriot has made a glorious assa[u]lt uppon [sic] the Ignoble person of Sir George Arthur the Governor of Upper Canada with no other loss than that of the life of the latter, (It is to be feared that this report is not founded in truth,) - should it prove to be so a suitable Monument will be furnished gratuitous on condition of the privaledge [sic] of composing the Epataph [sic] - Please direct your order to Ofifnjbi Hijnofz Marble Mason Ogdensburgh St. Lawrence County York State.["The Arthurs Papers.
